LEVERAGE MICROFINANCE COMPANY (LMC)

is a limited liability company legally registered under the Companies Act 1963 (Act 179) of Ghana, as a non – bank financial institution. LMC has obtained its full operating license from the Central Bank of Ghana to operate as a tier II financial institution.

The company started its operations from an office at Adabraka official town – a suburb in the Greater Accra region of Ghana, as a finance house providing only credit facilities to employees and small scale businesses that were struggling to be attended to by the traditional banks.

Leverage Currently has its head office located off the Dansoman – Sakaman road, at Ave Maria junction, poultry avenue in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

Chairman

Mr. Philip Buabeng is a Chairman of the Leverage Board. He is a Banker, Administrator, Lecturer, Consultant and Lawyer. He is currently a partner of LEX-ECK Legal Consult.

Peter Andoh

Director

Major General Andoh is the Director of the Leverage Board of Directors. He is currently the Ghana Ambassador to Türkiye.

Michael Kissi

Director

Michael Kissi is the Managing Director of Western Transport Services, a leading Transport firm in the country. He is also a Director for Gireb Support Services Limited and Germm Kissi Company Limited.

Maame Ofewah Sarpong

Director

Maame Sarpong is an astute lawyer by profession, currently an Associate at G.A. Sarpong & Co Chambers. She is also a Lecturer at the Law faculty of the Wisconsin University.

Gilbert K N Adamtey

Director

Gilbert is a Director of the Leverage Board. He has over 15 years’ experience in the areas of Corporate Governance, Banking and Finance, Product Development, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Restructuring, Credit Management in the Financial Services Industry.
