Gilbert is the Chief Executive Officer of Leverage Microfinance Company Limited. He is well endowed when it comes to banking and the financial sector at large. He has over 15 years’ experience in the areas of Corporate Governance, Banking and Finance, Product Development, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Restructuring, Credit
Management in the Financial Services Industry.

Prior to his role as the Chief Executive Officer, Gilbert started his career from a humble beginning as a Loan Monitoring Officer and gradually rose through the ranks with hard work, determination and perseverance as a Credit Officer, Project Officer, Credit Manager, Relationship/Branch Manager and later became the head of Mass Retail and a Managing Director at the various finance houses he worked with.

He has a wealth of experience in SME lending and advisory, LPO financing, and Retail banking. He also has in depth knowledge in commercial banking. He believes in order, respect for all, team work and integrity.

Gilbert is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management – Ghana, member of the Institute of Directors, Ghana (IODG) and a Certified Expert in Agricultural Finance. He also holds an MBA (General Management) from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana
and BSc Administration (Marketing Option) from the Central University College. He holds a Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing (CIM-UK III).

He is a member of the Institute of Directors, Ghana (IODG).
