The new branch is expected to offer tailor-made financial solutions to small traders, entrepreneurs, and the agricultural sector within Kpone, Tema, and surrounding communities. The move comes as part of the company’s broader strategy to deepen financial inclusion and support local economic growth.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, former Principal of the National Banking College, Phillip Kwasi Buaben, used the occasion to call for integrity and professionalism across Ghana’s financial institutions. He emphasized that the recent banking sector cleanup must serve as a guiding lesson for players in the industry.
“Discipline, prudent management, and strong internal systems are the bedrock of every successful financial institution,” Mr. Buaben said. “Both management and customers have a role to play in building resilience and trust.”
