Richard is currently the Unit Head Credit of Leverage Microfinance Co. Ltd. He has over 10 years’ experience and expertise in SME Financing, Product Management, Credit Policy Evaluation and implementation as well as Credit Sales Management. He also has a solid track record in negotiating business opportunities with clients across sectors, credit operations, process improvement and service delivery.

Prior to his role as Unit Head Credit, Richard started His career as a Financial Services Officer and rose through the ranks to become a Business Client Advisor, Personal Banker, Risk and Credit Analyst at the various institutions he worked with. He also worked as an SME Product Manager as well as Products and Alliance Manager where He made a remarkable impact on the development of the company.

He believes in teamwork, integrity and respect for all.

Richard holds an MSc (Financial Risk Management) from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a BSc (Mathematics) from the University of Cape Coast. He also holds a Certificate of Competence (Certified Credit SME Administrator) from the National Banking College and a Ghana Securities Industry Certificate (GSIC) from the Ghana Stock Exchange Training School.
